SHONAN BELLMARE GETS THE WHOLE PACKAGE – WHAT A PACKED WEEK OF BUNDESLIGA AND BUNDESLIGA 2

Once again we had the chance to design a very special team trip for a magnificent client. Through our Japanese partner we were requested to plan and organize a team trip for the Under 18 team of Shonan Bellmare, a Japanese J- League club.

The team had to chance to experience German football in ist complete beauty. 10-days that met all the clubs and representatives needs. Hosted in a modern and high-quality home base with high-quality pitches for training sessions, three matches against German Under 19 Bundesliga teams, an additional match against the top of the league of Under19 Division 2 and three professional games to watch in the stadium.

On the first whole day oft he trip the Bellmare players went to get the full VfB Stuttgart experience including a stadium tour and having a quick chat with Thomas Hiltzlsperger. This experience was followed by a friendly match against the VfB Under 19 that ended 0-8.

But the team recovered very quickly because the matches against Karlsruher SC U19 (2 -2) and Waldhof Mannheim U19 (1 -1) on Day 2 and Day 3 both ended with a draw.

The fourth day was very special because the whole team was reinvited to Stuttgart and the German club had a special surprise, Wataru Endo, former Shonan Bellmare player, and Japanese national player, just came back from a national team trip. He took some minutes to have a chat and write autographs. At the same time he had some useful advices foe the young players.

The weekend was packed with Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 matches. The Japanese guests had the chance to see Karlsruher SC - SV Sandhausen on Friday, heading Mainz on Saturday to watch  1.FSV Mainz - Hertha BSC Berlin and conclude the weekend with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim – SC Freiburg in Sinsheim.

The three days of training and match-visiting were the perfect preperation for the last day of their trip.

The team went to Mainz to see the stadium and play against a mixed Under19/ Under 17 team from 1. FSV Mainz 05. Both teams scored twice and the game ended 2-2.

At the end of packed 10 days the team flew back to Japan. Yes, they did not win a game but and this more important they gained a lot of experiences that will support their personal journey and will never be forgotten. Let`s see and wait where this takes the club to.
Good luck to our friends from Shonan Bellmare.
