The Challenge

VfB Stuttgart, in collaboration with their premium partner Kärcher, sought to unveil a unique activation initiative in the vibrant city-state of Singapore. The mission was clear – to create an unforgettable youth football experience while simultaneously nurturing the partnership with Kärcher in South East Asia.

Our Strategy

Schaechter Sports, the architects of sporting dreams, took the reins of this project. The cornerstone of this remarkable endeavor was a distinctive youth football camp in Singapore, gathering over 100 young talents who shared a passion for the beautiful game. The camp was designed to offer more than just football skills; it was a voyage into the heart of VfB Stuttgart’s football culture.

This activation went beyond the football field. The delegation from Stuttgart included the charismatic Silvio Meissner, a German Champion from 2007. He was a living testament to the club’s glorious history and a beacon of inspiration for all involved, including the young participants and Kärcher’s business partners, which included sales personnel and customers.

An essential element of the week was the visit to the local official fan club, the “1.VfB Stuttgart Fanclub Asia.” This was an opportunity for these passionate supporters, thousands of miles away from the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Stuttgart, to connect with the club they love.

Kärcher, best known for its cleaning technology, took advantage of this activation to broaden its horizons. The collaboration with VfB Stuttgart extended to various business realms. Customer retention, employee incentivization, and sales promotion, through product presentations in a unique atmosphere enriched with exclusive offers, were among the many fruits reaped.
