The Challenge
Werder Bremen was gearing up for an exciting Football Development Program in Vietnam. The club wanted to build anticipation for the upcoming program and engage the local community. To achieve this, they needed a pre-activation teaser that would ignite enthusiasm and curiosity.
Our Strategy
Werder Bremen partnered with Lecka Vietnam, a producer of healthy nutrition bars and the proud sponsor of the logos for the year-round Football Development Activations in Vietnam. Together, they crafted a tantalizing teaser that would sustain excitement over an extended period. The objective was to create a buzz around Werder Bremen’s program and to seamlessly integrate Lecka Vietnam into the activation.
The journey commenced with a captivating ball kick video featuring Jens Stage, a current Werder Bremen professional. The ball’s impressive journey began at the iconic wohninvest Weserstadion in Bremen, where Stage delivered a powerful kick. From there, the ball voyaged across continents to land in Hanoi, Vietnam.
In Hanoi, we enlisted the talents of PhatFreestyle, a renowned Football-Freestyler, to elevate the excitement. PhatFreestyle initiated a series of captivating freestyle content, drawing the attention of people in the streets. Street participants were engaged with delicious Lecka bars and exclusive Werder merchandise.
The teaser culminated in a spectacular watching party, presented by Lecka Vietnam. Around 100 enthusiastic fans gathered to experience the localized pre-match stream, featuring international star Naby Keita. Keita also took the time to interact with the kids, answering their questions and sharing in the excitement.
Adding to the festivities, PhatFreestyle made a live appearance, wowing the crowd with a captivating freestyle show and imparting the tricks of the trade to the young and eager learners.

Lecka Vietnam’s slogan, “Healthy Food For Active Lifestyles,” harmoniously merged with the activation by aligning Werder’s activities with the theme of health and vitality.
The teaser successfully built excitement within the local community, with people eagerly awaiting the forthcoming Football Development Program. It engaged the streets of Hanoi, touching hearts and igniting a passion for football in a deliciously entertaining way.
