IN COOPERATION WITH THE MIDWEST PREMIER ACADEMY FROM OMAHA, AN EXTRAORDINARY ARMINIA ACTIVITY TOOK PLACE IN THE USA LAST SUNDAY. TOGETHER WITH FINN HOLSING, YOUTH DIRECTOR OF ARMINIA BIELEFELD, CARVER MILLER, BORN IN CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA AND CURRENT U17 GOALKEEPER AT ARMINIA BIELEFELD WHO GREW UP IN THE USA, WAS AVAILABLE TO ANSWER THE PARTICIPANTS' QUESTIONS IN A Q&A SESSION: "TALKING ARMINIA: MY ROAD TO GERMANY".
At the unusual time, eight o'clock local time in the morning in Omaha, Carver talked about his career and his road to Germany. In a very entertaining round of talks with many interesting questions, the likeable goalkeeper gave insights about his daily routine, the daily training at Arminia, the cultural differences and his goals. Finn Holsing explained the philosophy of Arminia, the integration of international players like Carver Miller and spoke about the development of the club in recent years. "Playing against great teams like Borussia Dortmund or Bayer Leverkusen every week is very important for my personal development. The goalkeeping here in Germany is much more complex and the game is much faster. So the training is also more intense," said Carver Miller.
"It was a very successful event with a very good exchange at an unusual time. With 35 participants, our breakfast talk was well attended and we notice from the many questions the interest in Arminia as well as the career of Carver. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Midwest Premier Academy and our cooperation partner Schächter Sports for organizing this successful event," said a satisfied Finn Holsing.
The exchange will continue in the coming weeks with further digital training sessions and coaching clinics for the Midwest Premier Academy coaches.
