FOR THE FIRST TIME, A SELECTION OF PLAYERS BORN 2009 FROM THE AMERICAN ISLAND OF "HAWAII" TRAVELLED TO GERMANY TO TEST THEIR PERFORMANCE LEVEL AND COMPETE VERSUS GERMAN ACADEMIES.

The week focused on complex training sessions with coaches of Schaechter Sports as well as playing friendly games against top-class opponents. Immediately after their arrival and a morning session, the U14 team had their first match against a U15-U17 team from SC Hauenstein. The guests from overseas got the upper hand with a score of 6:4 and thrilled the numerous spectators present. One day later, SV 07 Elversberg was a very good opponent for the talented boys. In a high-class and varied match, Elversberg kept the upper hand with 6:4. Other high-class matches and opponents such as Viktoria Aschaffenburg and SV Waldhof Mannheim provided a perfect setting for coach Connor to make the best possible evaluation of the players.

In addition, the players had also the opportunity to take photos with the Bundesliga trophy „Meisterschale“ during a Bundesliga breakfast presented by Topps, as well as a Q&A session with Silvio Meissner (German champion 2007 with VfB Stuttgart). The week was rounded off with a visit to the legendary "Betzenberg", stadium of the four-time German champions 1.FC Kaiserslautern.
