A DELEGATION OF BUNDESLIGA SIDE DSC ARMINIA BIELEFELD IN COOPERATION WITH THE SOUTHERN AFRICAN-GERMAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY HANDED OVER ALMOST 80 PAIRS OF SOCCER SHOES TO MESHACK MABASO, THE DIRECTOR OF DAVEYTON ARSENAL FC.
This is the third time Arminia has traveled to the club from the township of Daveyton in the South African province of Gauteng and, with the shoe handover, fulfilled another promise from last year's visit to South Africa.
"For us, this day is very special because many of our children don't have soccer shoes. Since the coaches from Bielefeld have been visiting us regularly, we have seen a great improvement in our players. We were able to win very big tournaments with our U15 and U17 teams in December. Our seniors also achieved a remarkable second place. This is certainly also due to the training with Bielefeld. We are very grateful and proud of this great support," Mabaso is pleased to say.
We are very proud to have made such a generous donation together with our partners. Many thanks to all who have made this possible.
