"TOGETHER FOR MALAYSIA" - SCHÄCHTER SPORTS DEEPENS ITS CONNECTIONS TO MALAYSIA
Schächter Sports enters the Malaysian football market with a strategic cooperation with Destiny FDC
Schächter Sports is delighted to welcome the next local partner to its network - Destiny Football Development Centre (Destiny FDC) in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Destiny FDC is the perfect partner to amplify Schächters exisiting engagement and development programs in Malaysia.
"Football is the number one sport in Malaysia and we were able to introduce multiple succesful programs together with Aylwin Skelchy’s team (Destiny FDC) in the past. Therefore it was a logical conclusion to emphasize our work and set up a long-term relationship with them. We are looking forward to this long and succesful partnership and are thankful to get the chance of playing an active role – together with our partner – in the football development in Malaysia.", says Sebastian Schächter, CEO Schächter Sports.
Aylwin Skelchy the managing director of Destiny Football Development Centre shares the same fundamental values with Schächter Sports. He wants to support the development for children and youths through European football experiences. The programs are not limited to professional football but also to reach out in developing grassroot football .
Football is seen as a chance to connect cultures and to create perspectives for young people. With the cooperation that Destiny FDC establishes with Sports Organisations and Associations in Malaysia, it will also help to support the grassroot and professional development of the sport in the country.
Aylwin Skelchy has expressed the potential with this partnership saying, "Schächter Sports will be the perfect partner for us to develop holistic footballers not only skills and techniques, physical and mental strengths but also in the areas of discipline, character and attitude in and out of the field. Schächter Sports is able to provide unique experiences for Malaysian players in Malaysia as well as in Germany when our local players participate in the annual World Selection Tournament and the Training Stints. With their knowledge and experience professionally they will support the holistic development of every player in the program. At the same time this cooperation will create a huge opportunity for the development of football in Malaysia. Sending teams and players to Germany to train and compete with the Bundesliga academies is a unique experience and will motivate every player in the program to reach his next level."
With these shared values it was easy to find a mutual foundation for a succesful partnership – which is a matter of heart for both parties.
